Right of Innocence
by Earl Bergland, May 4th, 2010

Innocence of youth swamps our bodies
The finest of joyous emotions
A child’s butterfly fright
Innocence, ideal state of diamonds

What callous beastly society flings youth aside?
Cur peacocks strutting threat feathers of war
Do Greed’s courtship dance on dead bodies
God’s Chosen bulldoze their fuzz faced in war trenches

The poor have no right of innocence
Yes, road beds for abusive carriages
The poor created by God’s Chosen
The poor panders to God’s Frozen

Natives in pristine state defiled
God Power Perverts walk the extra mile

Awe reverence of innocence
Innocence is the essence of human
The purity meter the rich should ban

This gibberish shall become a sonnet
Or my toe a shall become a giblet
